What to pay attention!

Unfortunately, a wedding ceremony does not replace the legal marriage ceremony by law, for which you have to go to a German civil registry office (Standesamt). A pure wedding ceremony is not legally recognized, so a civil marriage is not enough. Nevertheless, the wedding ceremony is a wonderful addition to seal your love in a special setting.
